We are currently seeking an additional Technical NDT Specialist to bolster our team. The position will ensure we maintain the appropriate level of resource to support both planned MRO activity and respond effectively to unplanned requirements.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing NDT support within the Marshall organisation. Inspections are required on a wide variety of aircraft, components and structures.

  • Inspections are required to be completed to national and international standards within the various national and international regulatory frameworks, set by the appropriate authority.

  • Completion of all task related paperwork in order to maintain up to date, accurate records of work carried out.

  • Providing NDT support to third party customers both new and existing, worldwide.

  • Production of Inspection Techniques for approval by the appropriate Level 3.

  • An ability to confidently work unsupervised but also as an effective team member with a flexible approach to the department workload.

  • Deliver Critical Customer Outcomes

  • Collaborate: Seek common ground and sources of agreement with diverse internal and external stakeholders

Essential

  • EN4179 Level 2 in: Eddy Current & Ultrasonic

Desirable:

  • EN4179 Level 2 in: Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant Inspection, Radiographic (Wet Film) & Bond Testing and Ultrasonic Phased Array

  • Experience of an MRO environment

  • Experience of Aerospace Engineering

  • A working knowledge of aircraft and their construction

The successful applicant will be required to:

  • Qualify for any Level 2 Methods not held at the time of appointment

  • Register as a 'Classified Radiation Worker' IAW IRR 17

  • Qualify as a Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS)

  • Hold a current UK Passport

  • Hold a current UK Driving Licence

  • The role will involve working at height and in confined spaces.

Occasional evening work will be required to cover Radiographic Inspections. On rare occasions a 'night shift' may be required.
