WFH + (Bournemouth once a month)

You’ll play a pivotal role in this organisation’s mission of continuing to be the leading software provider of safeguarding solutions, who provide early detection and intervention for public sector authorities.

You will be completely rebuilding and modernising the current flagship Android software solution as well as and researching and implementing new product features.

This role will give you the opportunity to be involved in something more meaningful, where you’ll actually add value and worth on a daily basis.

Your new challenge

You’ll be leading the Android development of the new App with a greenfield approach. This role is the perfect blend of R&D and Android development. You will Research & Develop new approaches, implement cutting edge Android features and develop the new flagship Android app.

About you

You’re an Android Developer enthusiast with some experience of developing and delivering Android solutions. We’re not looking for years and years of extensive Android development, but here are some skills you’ll bring to this organisation:

· A good understanding of Android, Kotlin and Java.

· Strong team ethos.

· Curiosity and drive to both research and develop.

· A full UK Driving Licence, as some UK customer travel will be undertaken on occasion.

You’ll have a growth mindset and the willingness to learn and collaborate with your team and customers. You’ll be building and cultivating strong relationships as well as advocating innovation within the organisation and with your customers.

Salary and benefits

Salary on offer is c£40k basic. Remote / hybrid working available with infrequent visits to the office in Bournemouth. There is a requirement for you to be based within a commutable distance to Bournemouth.
