Virtual School Coordinator
Location: Hillingdon, Hybrid Working (Drivers License Required)
Service Area: Virtual School for Looked After Children

Role Purpose
We're looking for a passionate Virtual School Coordinator to champion the education of Hillingdon's Looked After Children (LAC) and Care Leavers aged 2-25. You'll track progress, lead Personal Education Plans (PEPs), and work with schools, carers, and professionals to break down barriers to learning and help children achieve their potential.

What You'll Do

Hold a caseload of LAC, tracking attainment, attendance, and progress.
Lead and record high-quality PEP meetings in line with statutory guidance.
Advocate for children at admissions, exclusions, and professionals' meetings.
Advise schools, social workers, and carers on education provision and support.
Contribute to Pathway Plans for Care Leavers aged 18-25.
Maintain accurate data records and use systems to monitor outcomes.
Build strong relationships with schools, carers, and partner agencies to secure the best educational opportunities.About You

Degree-level qualification (essential); QTS or postgraduate study (desirable).
At least 1 years' experience in the UK education system or in a Virtual School/education support service.
Experience working with vulnerable children, including those with SEND or EAL.
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, barriers to learning, and multi-agency working.
Confident using Microsoft Office and education data systems.
