Quality Assurance Technician

Location: Chippenham (rural site - own transport required)
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
Type: Full-time

About the Role:
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to take the lead on our internal audit programme as we work towards achieving full BRCGS accreditation. This is a hands-on role within our technical team, working closely with production and maintenance to ensure our site remains audit-ready all year round.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver the internal audit schedule against BRCGS and customer standards.
Conduct GMP, hygiene, traceability, and document control audits across the site.
Prepare for and support external audits and customer visits.
Investigate non-conformances, implement corrective actions, and track progress.
Maintain QA documentation, records, and procedures to ensure accuracy and usability.About You:

Previous experience in QA or Technical roles within food manufacturing.
Strong understanding of auditing processes, food safety, and compliance standards.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with both people and paperwork.
