We are looking for experienced Residential Support Workers to join a Stockport Council residential provision, supporting young people in a safe, stable and structured environment. This role is ideal for candidates who prefer consistent sleep-in shifts and a predictable working pattern.

Key Information

• Pay: £14–£16 per hour (depending on experience)
• Location: Stockport
• Working Hours:
• 11:00–23:00 (working)
• 23:00–07:00 (sleep-in)
• 07:00–11:30 (working)
• Contract Type: Full-time
• Rota: Stable 3-week repeating sleep-in cycle

Day-to-Day Tasks

• Supporting young people with daily routines and activities
• Providing emotional and practical support
• Promoting independence and positive behaviour
• Ensuring a safe, stable and nurturing home environment
• Working as part of a team to maintain structure and consistency
• Recording notes and following support plans
• Supporting with household duties as needed

Shift Rota (3-Week Cycle)

Week 1

• Monday – Sleep-in
• Saturday – Sleep-in
• Sunday – Sleep-in

Week 2

• Wednesday – Sleep-in
• Friday – Sleep-in

Week 3

• Tuesday – Sleep-in
• Thursday – Sleep-in
