Accounts Assistant (Property)

Salary: £25k -£26k DOE + Company benefits

(if you have previous accounts background within block management the salary can be negotiated)

Location: Burgess Hill

Hours: Mon-Fri 9am - 17.30pm

If so, I have a fantastic role based within their busy accounts department for an enthusiastic and professional Accounts Assistant.

You will already have a proven background within finance, be confident in liaising with clients over the phone and by email and pick up new processes and systems easily.

Responsibilities:

• Raising and sending service charges and ground rent invoices- monthly and quarterly.
• Liaising with clients over the phone, email, and correspondence.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Sales & purchase ledger.
• Work towards having responsibility for your own portfolio of clients.
• Working with external accounts to assist on year-end accounts.
• Assisting the property managers with budgets, debtors, and credit control.

The right candidate will have the following skills to apply:

• Previous experience within accounts.
• Ideally AAT level 2-3 qualified or qualified by experience.
• Ability to manage your own workload and meet strict deadlines.
• Good IT skills inclusive of Excel and have used accountancy software packages.
• Proactive and professional with a "can do" attitude.
• Proven background in bank reconciliation, invoicing, and dealing with supplier queries.
• A good understanding of finance practices and procedures.
