Clarence Park Residential & Nursing Care Home is a well established service in Weston-super-Mare, located close to the seafront and set within a characterful Victorian townhouse. Supporting up to 43 residents, the home provides high quality nursing, respite and palliative care within a calm, welcoming and team focused environment where staff can build meaningful relationships and make a genuine difference every day.

Role Overview
As a Chef, this role plays an important part in supporting residents' wellbeing through the delivery of high quality, nutritious meals within a specialist complex care environment. Working on a flexible bank basis, you will support the kitchen team in preparing meals that meet individual dietary, nutritional and clinical needs.
The role involves preparing and cooking both hot and cold meals, supporting menu planning and ensuring all food is presented to a high standard. You will maintain strict food hygiene and safety standards, monitor temperatures and ensure the kitchen environment is clean, organised and compliant.
You will also support stock control, deliveries and food storage, ensuring efficient kitchen operations. The role requires a reliable and adaptable approach, with the ability to work independently when required while maintaining consistency and quality.
What We Are Looking For
- City and Guilds 706 1 and 2 or equivalent, or working towards
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- Experience working in a professional kitchen environment
- Good understanding of dietary requirements and food safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive and reliable approach
