An NHS Organisation in London are looking for a Qualified Accountant to join the team for 3 month interim cover. This is a small organisation with this position being the main lead on all the financial management, and ensure that executives and senior stakeholders have appropriate information to make the best possible decisions to deliver the organisation’s strategic objectives.

Daily rate: £33.62 PAYE

Location: London – 2 days on site

Duration: 3 months

Start: July (ASAP)

Your duties will include:

• To report on a regular basis the financial position and projections of the organisation, providing assurance to senior leadership and funders and enabling appropriate decision making
• To provide financial leadership and present complex financial management information to senior Leadership and the Head of Finance & Corporate Support
• To provide accounting expertise to the organisation
• Manage, co-ordinate, monitor and agree the monthly reporting timetable
• To work in collaboration with the Financial Support Officer to ensure that all teams are following proper procurement processes and that all requisitions are raised appropriately and all invoices paid in a timely manner

The successful candidate MUST:

• Be CCAB qualified with significant PQE in a technical accounting role
• Have experience working in the NHS
