Location: Gisburn,Clitheroe – with travel across Lancashire as required

Salary: £12.25 per hour £55.00 per sleep-in

(Enhanced rates for Bank Holidays – e.g. Christmas double pay, Boxing Day & New Year’s Eve time and a half)

Hours: 2 on / 4 off shift pattern

(Example shift: 10am–11pm followed by a sleep-in until 8am, then continuing until 11pm, ending at 10:30am the following morning. All shifts are 2:1 staffing.)

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Essential Requirements:

• Driving licence (required)
• Experience working with young people (preferred, not essential)
• Openness to learn and willingness to support young people in crisis care

The Role:

You will support young people aged 8–17 in short-term crisis placements (up to 28 days), helping to create a safe, structured and nurturing environment. Duties include:

• Building positive, trusting relationships
• Supporting with daily routines, activities, and appointments
• Managing challenging behaviours and promoting positive outcomes
• Contributing to household tasks such as cooking and cleaning
• Working as part of a supportive team alongside therapists and psychologists
