Primary Teacher - KS2 - Islington - September 2025 Start

Key Details:

Role: KS2 Primary Teacher

Location: Islington, London

Start Date: 1st September 2025

Contract: Full academic year (until 19th July 2026)

Pay: £209-£219 per day (PAYE - MPS2 to MPS3)

Eligibility: ECTs will not be considered for this role

Key Responsibilities of the KS2 Primary Teacher:

Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum

Take full class teacher responsibility including planning, teaching, marking, and assessment

Monitor and track pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes excellence and a love for learning

Establish strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff to support a collaborative learning culture

Participate in staff meetings, CPD opportunities, and school events

Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning in line with the school's ethos

Use formative and summative assessments to inform future planning

Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold its community values

Uphold safeguarding practices and ensure the welfare of all pupils
