As Group Lifting Manager, you will take ownership of Ardmore's lifting governance across all projects—working closely with project teams, Appointed Persons, and HSQE leadership to ensure compliance, safety, and continuous improvement in every lift we plan and deliver.

Key Responsibilities:

* Own and oversee Ardmore's lifting procedures across the business, ensuring they meet all legal, safety, and best practice standards.

* Maintain the register of Lead Appointed Persons (LAPs), approve appointments, and ensure lifting personnel are competent and properly trained.

* Conduct audits, inspections, and reviews of lifting activities to ensure safety and compliance across all project sites.

* Collaborate with project leadership, temporary works teams, and engineers to support early lift planning and risk management.

* Drive improvements in lifting safety and performance, sharing lessons learned across the business and industry forums.

* Support the pre-construction team during bid and early design phases to identify lifting requirements and shape solutions.

We're Looking For:

* Minimum 10 years' experience in complex lifting operations.

* CPCS Appointed Persons (A61) - essential.

* Proven ability to manage, mentor and assess lifting teams across multiple live projects.

* Demonstrable experience in mobile and contract lifts.

* Strong understanding of LOLER, BS 7121, CDM Regulations, and relevant lifting legislation.

* Confident communicator with project teams and supply chain partners; able to lead, influence and challenge constructively.
