Alliance Personnel are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join one of clients based in Birmingham.

JOB PURPOSE:

To be responsible for writing and cooking new products based on product briefs.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

* To write, cook and present new product recipes in preparation for management approval.

* To be responsible for tweaking and fine-tuning products to meet business needs.

* To research and develop new product concepts relevant to the business needs.

* To be able to communicate tweaks in recipes so management can make decisions on product viability.

* To be responsible for bench marking existing products against competitors' alternatives.

* To be responsible for value engineering current products to meet an ever-demanding market.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

* Must be a trained chef to a senior level.

* Must have experience of developing recipes and products ideally for a manufacturing business.

* Must have a passion and interest in food.

* Must be computer literate.

* Must be comfortable with handling and tasting all types of food.

HOURS OF WORK

Flexible 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday
