We are supporting a client on a major service transformation programme and are looking for a Service Designer to help shape and deliver scalable, high-impact services within a complex, regulated environment.

You will play a key role in mapping and redesigning end-to-end services, aligning Product, Operations, Risk, and Technology teams to deliver clear, scalable and compliant service models.

The Role

  • Lead end-to-end service design activities, including service mapping, blueprinting and future-state modelling across key workstreams.
  • Identify pain points, dependencies and operational gaps, translating complex processes into clear, actionable service improvements.
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops and stakeholder alignment across Product, Operations, Risk, Compliance and Technology.
  • Define service processes, roles, systems interactions and data flows to support scalable and operationally ready services.
  • Work closely with UX, Product and Engineering teams to ensure service models translate into delivery roadmaps.


Key Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in Service Design within enterprise or regulated environments.
  • Strong experience creating service blueprints, journey maps, operational models and systems maps.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex multi-stakeholder environments and influence senior leadership.
  • Experience simplifying large cross-team processes and translating them into structured recommendations.


Highly Relevant Experience

  • Service design experience within banking, fintech, insurance, government or other regulated sectors.
  • Leading discovery phases to identify service gaps, inefficiencies and operational bottlenecks.
  • Working with operations teams to understand workflows, failure modes and service metrics.
  • Designing future-state services balancing user needs, operational realities and technical constraints.
