The Role As a Senior Paraplanner, you’ll be a key contributor to the advice process. Working closely with advisers and client-facing paraplanners, you’ll take ownership of technical analysis, research, report writing, and strategic case design. You’ll be expected to challenge assumptions, stress-test recommendations, and ensure each plan is technically robust, compliant, and client-centred.

Core Responsibilities:

Interpret fact-finds, cashflow models, and adviser notes to identify planning opportunities

Conduct in-depth technical analysis across pensions, investments, protection, and tax planning

Lead the drafting of suitability reports, both initial and ongoing

Liaise with internal teams to progress and implement advice recommendations

Prepare technical summaries, investment comparisons, and recommendation matrices

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory, tax, and product changes

Contribute to maintaining a high standard of advice quality and compliance
What We’re Looking For -
Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (minimum); working toward Chartered status preferred

Proven experience in a senior paraplanning or technical role within a regulated financial planning environment

Advanced knowledge of investment strategies, pension planning, protection, and taxation

Strong report-writing skills and a methodical, detail-oriented approach

A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of cases and drive them through to completion

Comfortable working independently while collaborating with advisers and wider support teams
