We are currently looking for an experienced Laser Setter / Operator to join our production team in Redditch. With position becoming permanent following a successful trial period. This role is ideal for someone with previous laser cutting experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment.
**Experience on a Amada cutting machine is essential**
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate an Amada CO₂ F1 laser cutting machine
- Work with 3000mm x 1500mm sheet material
- Operate and monitor the automated sheet loading system
- Load and unload materials safely
- Check parts for quality and accuracy against engineering drawings
- Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning
- Ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality standards
Desirable Skills
- Experience with automated sheet loading systems
- Knowledge of laser programming or nesting software
Shift:
- Monday to Thursday 0700 - 1530
- Friday 0700 - 1330
