Tradewind Recruitment is supporting a welcoming primary school in the Breightmet area of Bolton, who are looking for an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher for a January or February half-term start. This position offers an exciting chance to teach a focused, energetic KS2 class preparing for upper-key-stage responsibilities.

Main responsibilities:

Teaching Year 5 across the full curriculum with high expectations

Preparing pupils for Year 6 by developing resilience and independence

Using assessments effectively to drive progress

Maintaining a structured, positive learning environment

Working closely with phase staff, support staff, and leadership

Engaging positively with parents and carers

We are seeking a teacher who:

Holds QTS and experience in upper KS2

Has strong subject knowledge across core areas

Is confident with KS2 assessment frameworks

Can inspire, motivate, and challenge pupils

Demonstrates excellent organisation and classroom management
