Are you a highly motivated and results-driven sales professional with a passion for making a real impact? Avalon Housing is seeking a talented Sales Lead to drive the national expansion of an innovative Pre-Start Programme. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure meaningful contracts, build key partnerships, and leverage national funding to transform lives.

About the Role

This crucial role has a budget of £30,000 to be spent over a maximum of six months, and will see you at the forefront of securing adoption of a vital programme designed to support individuals into positive pathways. You'll be instrumental in shaping the programme's reach and impact across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

* Secure Sales of the Pre-Start Programme: Proactively engage with local authorities and businesses to secure contracts for the Pre-Start programme and associated training.

* Identify & Onboard High-Quality Delivery Partners: Source, vet, and partner with trusted local organisations that have established relationships with local authorities to deliver the programme nationwide.

* Leverage National Funding Opportunities: Strategically position the programme within national schemes such as Staying Close, Connect to Work, and the Youth Guarantee, helping local authorities utilise these funds for adoption.

* Drive National & Remote Outreach Strategy: Develop and execute a national remote outreach plan to build awareness, drive engagement, and ensure a strong pipeline of leads and opportunities across England (and potentially the wider UK).

* Sell & Scale Training Offers: Market and sell trauma-informed, restorative training to local authority teams and businesses supporting care-experienced young people or prison leavers, scaling both impact and revenue.

About You

We're looking for an individual with a proven track record in sales, ideally within the public sector or a related field. You'll be adept at building relationships, understanding complex funding landscapes, and driving strategic growth. Experience with remote sales strategies and a commitment to social impact are highly desirable.You must also have experience of Social Housing or Local Authorities.
