Hays Education is working closely with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Willenhall who are seeking a dedicated Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team. This role begins on a part-time basis, with the opportunity to transition into full time for the right candidate.As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting children across the Nursery with a strong focus on pupils with SEND. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to deliver individual learning targets, provide 1:1 and small-group support, and help create a nurturing, stimulating and structured learning environment.

Our responsibilities will include:

• Supporting children with a range of complex SEND needs, including communication, developmental and social needs
• Delivering targeted interventions aligned with EHCP outcomes
• Supporting daily routines and Early Years learning activities
• Using positive behaviour and communication strategies to build confidence and independence
• Working collaboratively with the wider EYFS team to ensure consistent, high-quality support

What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience supporting young children with SEND in an Early Years setting
• A patient, nurturing and confident approach to learning support
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for supporting children with complex needs
