Contract: 6-12 months (with possible extensions)
Hours:

Monday to Friday: 08:00 - 18:00
Saturday: 08:00 - 13:00Pay Rate: £16.13 per hour (umbrella)

Role Overview Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Health Care Assistant (HCA) to join a busy Urgent Care team in York. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing essential clinical and administrative support to patients and clinicians.

Key Responsibilities
Perform ECGs and phlebotomy (blood taking) accurately and efficiently.
Carry out health checks, wound care, and wound dressing.
Administer B12 injections as required.
Assist clinicians in delivering high-quality patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records using SystmOne.
Ensure compliance with infection control and health & safety standards.
Support patients with dignity, compassion, and professionalism.
Complete administrative tasks related to patient care when required.Essential Requirements
Previous experience as a Health Care Assistant in a clinical setting.
Competent in ECG and phlebotomy procedures.
Must hold an NHS Smart Card.
Proficient in using SystmOne.
