Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per annum

They are in search of a process & quality driven Production Manager with experience of running a busy food production facility & team.

What is expected of you?

  • Production management - Oversee all production operations and team management.
  • Production plan creation and adherence to ensure full compliance of the production plan in all areas.
  • Manage and maintain the highest levels of quality control and compliance.
  • Ensure all operators are working to HACCP policies and producing high quality products in a food safe environment.
  • Meet & maintain all standards of the external audit (Safe and Local Supplier Approval - SALSA)
  • Ensure warehouse team correctly store ingredients and finished goods.
  • Equipment, machinery and facility management.
  • People & Team management including training & development, recruitment, on-boarding and appraisals.
  • Stakeholder management and cross-functional team collaboration.

As a successful SME going through sustained growth, it is essential that the Production Manager is a hugely proactive individual who will lead from the front and provide the following experience -

  • Extensive Production Management experience within the food & beverage sector.
  • Track record of creating accurate production plans.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead production teams.
  • Excellent working knowledge of health & safety food hygiene legislation.
  • Ideally HACCP qualified.
  • Must have a driver’s license / forklift license & counterbalance (preferred)
  • Process driven able to establish, maintain and share new processes.
  • Clear communicator and a team player
  • Highly organised - ability to plan, prioritise, and schedule as well as keep track of own workload and work to deadlines.
  • Easily approachable with good interpersonal skills, creative thinking, and analytical skills
  • Able to cope under pressure and respond to production peaks
