Murray McIntosh are currently searching for an Electronic Test Engineer to join a key client of ours on a contract basis as detailed below:

You will be responsible for carrying out electronic testing activities on a variety of both RF and electronic products.

Responsibilities:

Supporting the Production and Repair Cells with all test-related concerns to ensure on-time delivery of compliant product.
Supporting engineering investigations into product performance and reliability.
Critical evaluation of existing test and calibration methods and proposal of improvements and modernization.
Supporting both Suppliers and Customers with product queries.
Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 5 years' electronic test experience in a related role in any industry.
Experienced and confident in the use of a variety of laboratory equipment
Experienced in evaluating S-Parameters, Power, Leakage/Isolation, Noise and Losses in a RF systems and components such as Transmitters, Receivers, Mixers, Downconverters, Filters and Amplifiers. (advantageous)
Experience of performing IPC level inspections of electronic assemblies
Ability to maintain several production test and reference facilities
Electronic component knowledge
Capable of reading circuit diagrams and product performance specifications and confident in translating these requirements to Test Specifications.
Proficient at producing technical reports to a high standard
