Mechanical Project Manager - Devizes, Wiltshire - Prestigious Prison Project (MoJ)

We are working with a well-respected M&E contractor, backed by one of the UK's largest and longest-established main contractors, to recruit a Mechanical Project Manager for a prestigious prison project in Devizes, Wiltshire.

The Role

As Mechanical Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the mechanical package on a complex custodial scheme, ensuring delivery is achieved safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will:

* Lead the mechanical delivery from pre-construction through to handover

* Manage subcontractors, site teams, and specialist suppliers

* Oversee programme, cost control, procurement, and reporting

* Ensure full compliance with MoJ standards, H&S, and quality procedures

* Work closely with the main contractor and client representatives

* Drive performance, coordination, and technical excellence on site

What We're Looking For

* Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within building services

* Experience delivering large-scale projects (MoJ/prison experience highly desirable)

* Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building services systems

* Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills

* Commercial awareness and programme management capability

* SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and relevant mechanical qualifications
