As an Economics Trainee Teacher, you can expect to gain experience across year groups and key stages throughout your twelve month programme. You will be teaching a curriculum with a mix of economics and business studies as part of your role. Confidence with your subject and with students is a must for this role. The successful Economics Trainee Teacher will be someone who can meet the below requirements:
- Completed a Bachelor of Honours in a economics or business field (2.2 or above)
- Experience within industry OR in the classroom is preferential
- Right-to-work full-time in the UK; you must have been based in the UK ordinarily over the last three years
- Excellent subject knowledge in economics and business studies
- GCSE's C or above in English and Maths (or equivalent)
- Seeking responsibility and further experience within the classroom
- The ability to support, challenge and inspire students - encouraging them to be their best
- A strong classroom presence to achieve high levels of student engagement
