The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced CAD Administration Designer to support the team by customizing and configuring AutoCAD Plant 3D setups per client standards. The role involves maintaining piping specifications, customizing reports, and providing hands-on admin support for CAD and PDM systems, including mechanical and piping design production.

Your duties and responsibilities will be

Customise AutoCAD Plant 3D setups per company/client standards.
Create and maintain piping specs, catalogues, and reports for Plant 3D.
Support Autodesk and design applications implementation.
Provide technical support for CAD applications.
Administer CAD and PDM systems (e.g., Autodesk Vault).
Liaise with vendors to resolve CAD/PDM issues.
Coordinate with IT for CAD system optimization.
Troubleshoot and mentor in the use of 3D CAD tools.
Manage templates, reports, and preferences.
Produce 3D models, GA drawings, and piping isometrics.
Support Lead Designer on M&P design for projects.
Assist with mechanical equipment selection (valves, pumps, etc.).You will have the following qualifications and experience 

5+ years in CAD Administration, using Plant 3D.
Experience in piping design and EPC projects (Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Energy, etc.).
Strong knowledge of mechanical and piping design.
Proficient in Plant 3D, AutoCAD 3D, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office.
Understanding of piping materials, codes, and CAD data management.
Knowledge of British/European and international standards (ASME).t's great if you also have the following

Laser scanning experience.
HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering.
