1:1 Teaching Assistant - Primary Setting
Location: Nuneaton | Full-Time Position

A welcoming primary setting in Nuneaton is looking to appoint a committed and caring Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about inclusive education and thrives on helping children overcome barriers to learning.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering tailored 1:1 support throughout the school day

Assisting with classroom activities and adapting tasks to meet individual needs

Implementing strategies to support learning, behaviour, and emotional regulation

Promoting independence while offering consistent guidance and encouragement

Liaising closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and parents where appropriate

Monitoring progress and contributing to support plans

About You

Experience working within a primary school environment

Knowledge of SEND and personalised learning approaches

Patient, resilient, and nurturing in your approach

Able to build positive, trusting relationships with children

Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3) preferred but not essential
