Senior Mechanical Engineer - £45k-£55k - Cambridgeshire - Electro-Mechanical My client is a manufacturing company developing bespoke electro-mechanical products and machinery. They're looking to increase the Mechanical Engineering team with a passionate Senior Mechanical Engineer to design and develop new products from concept through testing to a finished product. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Engineer or Mechanical Engineer looking for a step up.

Main Duties:

+ Design and develop new products

+ 3D CAD design

+ Managing drawings within PDM system

+ Build and test designs

+ Precision mechanical design

+ Design jigs and fixtures

+ Working with a team and on individual projects

Skills and Experience Required:

+ Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

+ Strong 3D CAD skills - ideally Solidworks

+ Knowledge of different manufacturing processes and materials (Injection moulding, sheet metal, machined plastic and metal)

+ Experience in FEA would be beneficial

+ Background in bespoke machinery, electro-mechanical or precision design

+ Experienced I n the full product lifecycle

The salary will be between £45,000-£55,000. There will also be a generous benefits package available including a bonus and flexible working hours.
