Based near Birmingham City Centre, we are on the hunt for an experienced and passionate SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs within their education and daily lives. You must be comfortable supporting children who have the following needs:
- Autism (ASC)
- ADHD
- Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
- Global Delay
- Down's syndrome

What you will be doing:
- Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups to help them engage and succeed
- Using creative, hands-on approaches to keep learning accessible and fun
- Helping pupils regulate emotions and navigate the school day with confidence
- Building strong, trusting relationships that make pupils feel safe and understood
- Working closely with teachers and SEN staff to deliver consistent, high-quality support
- Sensory work supporting with dis-regulations and de-escalation.
What We're Looking For:
- Hold a level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or the equivalent
- Energetic, resilient, and ready to think on your feet
- Patient and understanding, even when things get challenging
- A natural encourager who celebrates every small win
- Experience working with children in a similar setting
- Experience working with special needs children
- Based locally to Birmingham City Centre

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
