Company: FINANCIAL DIVISIONS
Job Type: Permanent, FullTime
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum
- Trainee Paraplanner
- Maidstone based IFA firm
- Salary £28k - £32k plus bonuses and benefits
My client are a boutique independent wealth planning firm with offices near Maidstone (Kent) who I have placed 2 members of staff with. They offer whole of market financial advice to HNW retirees, accumulators, local families and SME owners based across Sussex, Kent and London. In their current setup they manage the affairs of 400+ clients with assets ranging from £250k - £5m. An average client has £1m invested.
The advisers consult on pensions, investments, tax planning, cashflow modelling, retirement planning, protections, and some esoteric schemes such as VCT & EIS schemes. They have very longstanding relations with accountancy and solicitor practices who refer business to them, and the advisers are not targeted as they have such a strong belief in ensuring clients received the best service rather than stacking up AUM.
The Managing Director is creating a brand-new role for a Trainee Paraplanner/Financial Administrator with at least 12 months of financial planning administration experience from an independent or restricted advice firm, candidates from Platform providers will be considered. The business has a team of very senior administrators and paraplanners, but they require a more junior candidate who can assist with the back-office function but there will be a route to being a fully fledged paraplanner in good time.
You will have good knowledge of basic financial products (pensions, investments, tax planning etc) but full training will be provided. If you have knowledge of Transact Quilter, Aviva or Cashcal (cashflow modelling tool) and FE Analytics then this would be highly advantageous. If you are studying towards the level 4 diploma this will be welcomed and my client will support, you with your studies.
The role will offer a salary between £28k - £32k + bonuses and benefits including annual leave allowance, 5% pension contributions, death in service cover and private medical cover.
If this role sounds of interest or any other roles I am working on, please get in touch.
