Life Cycle Surveyor - Facilities Management

Bouygues Energies Services FM currently has an exciting opportunity for a FM Life Cycle Surveyor to join our Operations team in London (contract location can be flexible) About us Working in partnership with our clients, we provide bespoke facilities management and energy services across the built environment. Our services cover the complete facilities management service delivery, from single service through to integrated facilities management. As a Life Cycle Surveyor, your day to day duties will involve: * Ensuring life cycle programmes are developed within contract requirements and implemented within governance framework * Developing life cycle processes and procedures on allocated contracts with reference to BS8544 * Preparing budgets for feasibility, pre-tender estimates, quotations, submission of final project quotations and tenders * Developing commercial and procurement strategies on life cycle works such as term contracts and SoRs * Preparing and agreeing interim valuations and accounts for approvals and sign-offs * Co-ordinating responses on financial queries and process to the requirements of the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act including Pay Less Notices * Providing life cycle and budgetary advice to contract management / senior management using contract tools such a condition survey and risk reviews * Working closely with commercial team on monthly client reporting * Supporting strategic development of procurement, suppliers and subcontractors The ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience and qualifications: * Previous experience in a similar role is essential * HNC/D in engineering or construction related qualification * Experience of working with building services and fabric * Knowledge of JCT / NEC contracts – operation contract project management and commercial processes * Strong commercial skills with exposure to estimating or quantity surveying * Excellent personal and financial organisational skills together with high quality report writing skills * Strong client facing qualities Why join us?
