The Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a well-regarded Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in the London Borough of Hillingdon. This specialist setting supports children and young people with a diverse range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Conditions, Speech, Language and Communication Needs, and moderate to severe learning difficulties.

The Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to take a leading role in delivering high-quality, tailored education. Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other specialists, you will:

* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet pupils' individual needs

* Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly

* Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment

* Collaborate with families, multi-disciplinary teams, and external agencies

* Lead and support teaching assistants within the classroom

* Implement behaviour strategies to promote a calm and positive learning experience

* Contribute to whole-school development and SEN best practices

What We're Looking For

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

* Experience teaching pupils with SEND, ideally in a special school setting

* A strong understanding of strategies for supporting Autism, SLCN, and complex needs

* Excellent communication and teamwork skills

* A reflective and resilient approach to teaching

* A commitment to ongoing professional development and safeguarding
