Company: INSPIRE PEOPLE

Job Type: Permanent

Are you starting your career and looking for a role where you can learn fast, work with people, and build a future in recruitment and technology? We're looking for a Graduate/Trainee Recruitment Resourcer to join Inspire People, supporting the delivery of technology professionals into major UK public sector programmes. This is an entry-level role, ideal if you're keen to learn the foundations of recruitment in a supportive, structured environment. Starting salary circa £25k plus £12k uncapped bonus per annum. Based in Discovery Park, Sandwich.

You'll be trained to source and engage technology candidates, build relationships, and support live recruitment campaigns - all while developing skills that will set you up for a long-term career in tech recruitment.
As a named supplier on frameworks such as Crown Commercial Service (CCS) RM6277 and Public Sector Resourcing (PSR), you'll be helping place talent into roles that genuinely make a difference to public services.

As a Graduate/Trainee Recruitment Resourcer you will:

  • Learn how to source and engage technology candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, social media, and modern recruitment tools.
  • Support the delivery team by building and maintaining candidate pipelines for live contract and permanent roles.
  • Speak with candidates regularly by phone, video, and messaging to understand their skills, motivations, and availability.
  • Develop strong candidate relationships through consistent, professional communication.
  • Assist with candidate screening, interviews, and coordination of applications.
  • Keep our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) accurate and up to date, learning best practice recruitment processes as you go.
  • Attend client briefings (via Teams) to learn how requirements are gathered and translated into successful hires.

About You:
You don't need recruitment experience as we'll train you, but you should bring:

  • A genuine interest in people, technology, and building a professional career.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with people on the phone and via video.
  • Good organisation skills and attention to detail, with pride in doing things properly.
  • A proactive attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
  • Comfort using basic IT tools such as Microsoft Office and online platforms (training provided on recruitment systems).
  • Motivation to work towards clear goals and develop commercially over time.
  • Graduates, career starters, and candidates from customer service, sales support, or IT admin backgrounds are all encouraged to apply.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Learning core recruitment skills and processes.
  • Building confidence engaging with candidates.
  • Consistently supporting live vacancies and delivery activity.
  • Meeting agreed development goals and early KPIs with support from your manager.

Our Values - How We'll Support You:

  • Invested - We put time into training, coaching, and developing your confidence and capability.
  • Inquisitive - We encourage questions, learning about technology roles, and understanding the market.

  • Uncapped commission as you progress and build confidence.
  • Generous holiday allowance + bank holidays.
  • Annual salary reviews linked to development and performance.
