About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a multi-million-pound industrial pipework installation project across multiple factory sites. This role covers locations along the M4 corridor, extending from South West England through to Surrey.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking company and take full ownership of large-scale mechanical and industrial projects within the manufacturing and engineering sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

*

Manage full project lifecycle for industrial pipework installation in factory environments

*

Review and manage construction and engineering contracts

*

Oversee mechanical design reviews and coordination with internal design teams

*

Develop and manage detailed project programmes and schedules

*

Allocate labour and manage workforce productivity on-site

*

Procure and schedule all mechanical materials and equipment

*

Liaise with design engineers to select and approve primary plant and associated systems

*

Conduct site surveys and establish site conditions, logistics and operational requirements

*

Manage site setup, health & safety compliance, and all required documentation (RAMS, COSHH, etc.)

*

Attend and lead client meetings, site inspections, and internal project reviews

*

Monitor project progress, identify risks, and ensure timely reporting

*

Control project budgets, manage variations, and monitor commercial impact

*

Supervise on-site Contract Managers and ensure alignment with project objectives

*

Deliver all validation and compliance documentation for project closeout

Essential Skills & Experience:

*

Proven experience managing industrial or mechanical engineering projects

*

Strong understanding of pipework systems, factory installations, or related construction services

*

Skilled in contract management, project programming, and cost control

*

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams

*

In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, including RAMS and COSHH

*

Ability to work across multiple sites in the M4 corridor, South West, and Surrey
