Accounting Specialist
Corporate headquarters for an expanding organization is looking for a talented individual to join their accounting team. Impressive benefit package included.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Specialist :

  • Helping to process weekly payroll
  • Work with Funding/Factoring companies
  • Prepare bank deposits and post payments in receivables
  • Accounts Payables-code invoices for General Ledger and Job Cost
  • Credit research
  • A/P Invoicing processing
  • Light collections
  • Set up new accounts in system
  • Balance books daily
  • Issue and Process checks and ACH payments to vendors
  • File all AP/AR statements
  • Check AP statements and request copies as needed
  • Update and mail AR statements to customers
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Maintain and check staff payroll for accuracy
  • Assist with service invoicing
  • Maintain monthly collections report

Job Requirements

Qualifications for the Accounting Specialist

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Associates degree Required
  • Experience with QuickBooks Required
  • Experience with SAGE preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated
