Account Manager

Full time and permanent

Location: Ipswich and office based

Salary: From £28,000 DOE

Role Purpose

This is a commercially focused position responsible for developing, managing, and growing relationships with a designated portfolio of clients in line with business targets. The role will focus on driving sales performance, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring revenue and margin goals are consistently achieved.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned client accounts to achieve agreed sales and margin targets.
  • Develop and cost product proposals and commercial presentations.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to grow revenue and market presence.
  • Negotiate agreements with clients to secure and maintain business.
  • Oversee preparation of sales assets including images, video content and POS materials.
  • Lead and support the internal admin and logistics teams, including recruitment and performance management.
  • Maintain accurate product and inventory data within internal systems.
  • Ensure purchase orders, supply agreements and invoicing processes are completed accurately and on time.
  • Monitor customer feedback, product performance and service levels, escalating issues where needed.
  • Provide accurate sales and stock forecasts to relevant departments.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and maintain regular communication with internal teams.
  • Participate in events, meetings and training activities, supporting wider team requirements as needed.
