We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Merchandiser to join a fast-paced retail environment on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong commercial awareness and excellent organisational skills to support a busy team.

About the Role

As a Merchandiser, you will play a key role in ensuring products are well-presented, competitively positioned, and fully optimised to support sales performance. You’ll work closely with buying teams, stores, and suppliers to keep ranges performing effectively and ensure stock is in the right place at the right time.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and supporting merchandising strategies across assigned product areas.
• Analysing sales data and trends to support decision-making and range planning.
• Ensuring planograms and product displays are maintained to a high standard.
• Monitoring stock levels, highlighting risks, and ensuring timely replenishment.
• Supporting promotional activity, price changes, and product launches.
• Identifying bestsellers, slow movers, and making recommendations for improvements.
• Liaising with suppliers, internal teams, and store colleagues to maintain smooth workflows.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in merchandising, retail operations, category support, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, with confidence working with sales data.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with stock/sales reports.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
