About Us:
Cooper Lomaz are working with an organisation committed to leveraging data to drive their business forward. We're looking for an experienced IT Governance Manager with a strong background in data management and governance to help shape and oversee their data strategy.

The Role:
As the IT Governance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility across the organisation. You'll play a key role in cataloguing data, implementing data governance policies, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help drive best practices in data governance, while enabling data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
Catalogue and classify organisational data for better accessibility and security.
Oversee data quality and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Collaborate with IT, data teams, and business units to implement best practices in data governance.
Leverage Azure, Power BI, and Microsoft Purview to manage and visualise data assets effectively.
Provide support and guidance to teams on data governance-related issues.Key Requirements:

Proven experience in a data governance or data management role.
Strong understanding of data cataloguing and best practices in data governance.
Experience working with Azure and Power BI.
Knowledge of Microsoft Purview is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical mindset, with attention to detail and a problem-solving attitude.Benefits:
