Working as part of a team (both internal and external) to develop and deliver technical information to meet client requirements and deadlines.

* Attending design team meetings to determine project scope, RIBA stage etc.

* Production and delivery of information delivery plans including but not limited to:

* Using Autodesk Autocad to draft electrical schematics and 2D plans.

* Using Autodesk Revit to produce electrical 3D models and co-ordinate with other services (mechanical, architectural etc.).

* Production of 2D plans from 3D model.

* Creation of bespoke Revit families.

* Producing technical submissions for manufacturers and equipment.

* Assisting with the design of lighting services, cable calculations etc. and incorporating into Autodesk software.

* Producing bills of quantities from 2D plans/3D models for quoting by suppliers and manufacturers.

* Incorporation of above design elements into O&M manuals.

* Delivery of BIM and COBie data (preferrable although not essential).

Supervision will be provided by a senior engineer and director.

Electrical/building service bias preferrable although not essential, though the candidate should have a keen interest in one/both.

The successful applicant will be based at our Oldham office and be employed full time (any existing commitments to part time academic courses may be accommodated subject to requirements).

Contract length is permanent, Mon-Fri, 37.5hrs a week, with initial 6 months “probation” period. Starting salary TBD depending on experience.

Based at our Oldham office; some occasional travel to site may be required (surveys, marking up as installed drawings etc.) as the role progresses
