We are recruiting a skilled CNC Turner to join our client on a permanent basis in Nelson. This role has been created as part of succession planning for a member of staff retiring.

Successful candidates will ideally be time served to ensure that jobs are manufactured in accordance with supplied technical drawings and specification.

Candidates will be required to programme, set and operate CNC Lathes utilising Fanuc controls therefore experience is a must. Strong Editing/ Setting experience will also be considered.

Candidates must have experience working on single spindle and twin spindle Lathes.

Hours - Monday - Thursday 0800 - 5 / Friday 8-1 OR Mon - Thurs 6-2/ Friday 6-1

The Ideal candidates will have :

* Programming, Setting and operating CNC Lathe using proven programs and tooling.

* Fanuc controls experience

* Running multiple machines and working with varied materials.

* Performing in process inspection using hand measuring equipment

* Keeping the working area clean, tidy and organised.

Candidate Skills

* Time-served with demonstrable experience operating a CNC Lathe working to very tight tolerances.

* Experience using Fanuc controls to Programme, Set and Operate the machines

* Will have experience working on a range of materials including Stainless, Aluminium, Inconel
