Role Summary

A leading aerospace manufacturer is seeking Skilled Aircraft Fitters to join its production team at a major UK site. The role involves working on a range of aircraft projects, including military platforms, in a hands-on, technical capacity.

Key Duties

Interpret engineering instructions and technical drawings
Perform fitting tasks using hand and power tools (e.g., drilling, shimming, sealing)
Certify completed work following training
Work in confined spaces and at height as required

Essential Criteria

Qualifications:

Completed apprenticeship in an engineering discipline
NVQ Level 2 & 3 or equivalent (e.g., City & Guilds Level 2, BTEC ONC)Experience:

Previous experience in fitting or assembly roles
Skilled in using hand tools
Comfortable working in physically demanding environmentsAdditional Requirements:

Must pass a pre-employment medical
BPSS clearance required (processed by employer)
