Workshop Manager

HGV Workshop Manager - Wymondham - Permanent Role - This is a hands-on role; HGV mechanical experience is ESSENTIAL.

Monday to Friday, 07:30-17:30 (1 hour lunch) Occasional Saturdays - as per operational requirements.

Salary: Up to £23.50ph. OTE example based on £23.50ph: around £55,000+

Silver Arrow require an HGV Workshop Manager to work for a prestigious & niche transport company based in Wymondham.

Your Role:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the workshop
• Coordinate and schedule work assignments for workshop staff
• Ensure that all work is completed on time and meets quality standards
• Provide technical guidance and mechanical support to workshop staff
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure a safe and clean working environment
• Collaborate with other departments to meet production goals
• Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and productivity

What we need from you:

• Commercial vehicle experience
• HGV mechanics experience
• You will have management experience in a workshop or dealership.
• Full Clean Driving Licence
