The Opportunity

This role offers the chance to build on your early careers expertise while developing hands-on experience in employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and HR operations. Working closely with senior HR leaders and business stakeholders, you will support a designated client group and play an active role in delivering people initiatives that drive performance and engagement.

You'll remain involved in trainee and early careers activity, but with a significantly wider remit - making this an ideal progression opportunity for someone ready to deepen their HR capability.

What You'll Be Doing

• Partnering with managers to provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance.
• Supporting employee relations matters including absence, probation, and performance processes.
• Assisting with appraisals, salary review cycles, and development planning.
• Coordinating onboarding, leavers, and contractual changes.
• Contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supporting early careers and trainee processes where relevant.
• Producing people data reports and maintaining HR systems.

This role would suit someone who:

Has experience in Early Careers, Graduate Recruitment, or Trainee Development, ideally within legal or professional services.

• Is keen to move into a broader HR Generalist / HR Advisory capacity.
• Has strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Is confident handling sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.
• Wants to develop deeper exposure to employee relations and HR strategy.
• Is CIPD qualified or working towards qualification (desirable but not essential).
