Linkster Recruitment is representing a leading company in the manufacturing industry that is currently seeking experienced CNC Machinists to join their team in Coventry on a permanent basis. Main Duties:
As a CNC Machinist, your responsibilities will include:
* Continuing the production of parts and making necessary adjustments to tooling and wear offsets to ensure machines operate efficiently.
* Carrying out inspections using CMM programs set by inspection and utilising gauges, verniers, micrometers, and height gauges.
* Maintaining clean and tidy workstations while producing high-quality work that adheres to agreed specifications.
* Promoting teamwork by maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues.
Experience Required - CNC Machinist:
We are looking for Setters and Operators with either CNC milling or CNC turning experience and:
* Time-served or equivalent experience in a precision machining company.
* Good experience in inspecting their own work using CMMs and gauges to verify product quality.
* Familiarity with Heidenhain controls (preferable but not essential) and the ability to work to tight tolerances.
* Strong attention to detail, a flexible mindset, and the ability to be a team player.
Shift Patterns - CNC Machinist:
* Permanent Days: Monday - Thursday, 07:30 - 16:30, and Friday 07:30 - 12:30
* Permanent Nights: Monday - Thursday, 18:00 - 06:00
Benefits - CNC Machinist:
* Salary negotiable up to £17.00 per hour depending on experience.
* Night shift pays a shift allowance of £2.00 per hour.
* Overtime is available and paid at 1.33x rate.
* Permanent /full time role.
