About the Opportunity

Our client, a respected leader in the Defence sector, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Electrical Fitter to join their production team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in electrical fitting and a commitment to delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out electrical manufacturing and testing tasks in accordance with internal procedures and quality standards.
Certify completed work and support regular audits to maintain product approval.
Use a variety of tools, equipment, and measuring instruments throughout the manufacturing cycle.
Ensure all build, inspection, and test activities are completed on time and to specification.
Accurately complete all manufacturing documentation.
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

Candidate Profile

Completed one of the following:
Approved Apprenticeship / Apprenticeship Framework / Modern Apprenticeship
Vocational G or H Units with Further Education (e.g., City & Guilds Parts 1, 2 & 3)
Vocational TR23 Units with Further Education (e.g., ONC or City & Guilds)
Vocational NVQ Level 3 with Further Education (e.g., BTEC ONC/HNC)
Hands-on experience in electrical wiring and assembly.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within aerospace or defence (preferred).
Familiarity with manual handling, lifting and slinging, and ESD practices.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality and safety.
