People Solutions are currently recruiting for an FLT Counterbalance and PPT Truck Driver to join our well-established client based in Tamworth, West Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, stable night shifts, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.

• Monday – Friday
• 22:00 – 06:00

Rates of Pay

• £14.98 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As an FLT Counterbalance and PPT Truck Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Operating an FLT Counterbalance truck safely and efficiently
• Operating a PPT truck safely and efficiently
• Conducting pre-use inspections and reporting any faults
• Receiving goods into the warehouse
• Checking quantity and visual quality of incoming and outgoing goods
• Unpacking and storing incoming deliveries
• Organising stock for dispatch
• Moving goods around the warehouse as required
• Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times

Essential Skills

As an FLT Counterbalance and PPT Truck Driver, you will need:

• Valid accredited Counterbalance FLT licence
• Valid accredited PPT licence
• Proven experience operating FLT and PPT trucks
• Good communication skills and ability to multi-task
• Strong awareness of surroundings
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good organisational skills
• Reliable and self-motivated attitude
• Flexibility and willingness to undertake a variety of tasks
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Desirable Experience

• Previous warehouse and FLT experience

Training Provided

• Industry-related training and ongoing support
