SALARY: £24000 - £28000/annum

AICS Group is looking for Rehabilitation Support Worker to join on the package where- our Client met with a Road traffic accident and have a Brain Injury.

The AICS Group specialises in providing community-based rehabilitation and support to clients who suffered from a brain injury. Assisting with daily therapy led rehabilitation and daily living task.

We provide Rehabilitation Support to adults and children within the community or in rehabilitation settings.

We are looking for people with excellent communication skills, motivation, initiative, flexibility and a genuine desire to support our service users to maximize their potential. This role provides immense job satisfaction within a busy and varied environment, working with a range of health and social care professionals.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Client: Our young Client got a Brain Injury and have Cognitive Issues. Therefore Duties:

Carry out morning routine and assist with personal care hygiene

-carry out therapeutic activities and exercises following OT and PT guidelines

-support him with educational and leisure activities

Therefore, looking for Rehabilitation Support Worker who can work on flexible hours:

Flexible Hours

8-9 hrs per day and 4 days a week (35 hours fixed contract)

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential Skills:

•Minimum 2 years of experience in health and social care, preferably with adults or children who have a brain injury

*Must be a driver

*Psychologist, Neuropsychologist, Nurse, Occupational Therapists

•The clear understanding of cognitive and physical impairment

•Demonstrate the ability to relate respectfully to people with physical disabilities

•Good verbal and written communication skills

•Ability to liaise with other professionals daily

•Ability to work productively as part of a team

•The ability to relate to people from a wide variety of backgrounds

•Skills in communicating with tact and sensitivity

•The ability to remain calm under pressure

Desirable Skills:

•Current and clean drivers license

•Experience of providing care to people living in the community
