We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join a company in Oldburry, B69 area.
As a Business Development Manager , you will be responsible for the growth of ICW's market position and to achieve sustainable financial growth.
Duties and responsibilities as a Business Development Manager:
* To define long term strategic sales and marketing goals, build key relationships with potential clients and identify new business opportunities.
* Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions and competitor activity.
* Develop strategy for targeting conquest accounts and identify new industry sectors.
* Achieving agreed new business sales targets and gross margin % as defined in the company sales strategy.
* Prospect for potential new clients through building and maintaining a sales pipeline, tendering and pre-qualifying opportunities.
* Devise and implement marketing strategy.
* Work with Head of Marketing to contribute to social media content creation and ensuring the web page is regularly reviewed and updated where necessary.
* Identify potential clients and the key decision makers within the targeted organizations.
* Research and build new relationships with potential new clients directly and using marketing and PR.
* Develop Unique Selling Points by maintaining a thorough knowledge of the market, services and solutions that the company can provide.
* Maintain a thorough knowledge of competitor activity.
Experience required for the Business Development Manager role:
* High level of interpersonal skills.
* Proven sales track record.
* Strong Sales Negotiator.
* Good level of project management skills.
* High level of written and verbal communication skills.
* High level of organisational and time management skills.
* High degree of working flexibility
* Ability to work under pressure and achieve tight deadlines.
* Good knowledge of the textile or garment industry
* Good IT appreciation and practical ability.
* Previous experience within the corporate clothing sector is useful but not essential.
* Good commercial awareness
Working hours for the Business Development Manager role:
Monday -Friday, 9am-5pm, hybrid : 3 Days Office / 2 Days WFH
