We're looking for a Controls Engineer with a strong background in PLC and HMI programming, coupled with electrical engineering knowledge and a passion for automation and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and develop control systems for bespoke automated machinery

* Program and integrate PLC (e.g. Siemens, Allen Bradley) and HMI systems

* Select and specify key components (e.g. motors, drives, encoders)

* Interpret customer specifications and evaluate technical requirements

* Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver tailored automation solutions

Required Skills & Experience:

* Proven experience in controls engineering within a manufacturing or industrial automation environment

* Proficient in PLC programming and HMI development

* Strong knowledge of control components and systems integration

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and customer specs

* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills

Desirable Attributes:

* Experience with custom machinery or systems integration

* Exposure to drive systems and motion control technologies

* Familiarity with both hardware and software aspects of control systems
