RG Consultancy are working with a fantastic manufacturing SME in South Manchester who are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a full-time permanent basis. You will join a small friendly finance team and report into the finance manager on a daily basis. This is a supportive role and would suit someone who would like more exposure into accounts payable and all around accounts

Role Responsibilities
- Post invoices and ensure correct coding
- Manage the accounts payable inbox and respond to queries
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve issues
- Process expenses and credit card transactions
- Manage payments on account and supplier portals
- Support month-end and year-end processes
- Assist with other duties as required
Person Specification
- Previous experience working within a purchase ledger/accounts payable role
- Study towards an AAT qualification would be an advantage but not essential
- Strong IT skills, good MS Excel skills and experience using SAGE 200 would be an advantage
- Confident communicator and high level of accuracy
