RG Consultancy are working with a fantastic manufacturing SME in South Manchester who are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a full-time permanent basis. You will join a small friendly finance team and report into the finance manager on a daily basis. This is a supportive role and would suit someone who would like more exposure into accounts payable and all around accounts

Role Responsibilities

  • Post invoices and ensure correct coding
  • Manage the accounts payable inbox and respond to queries
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve issues
  • Process expenses and credit card transactions
  • Manage payments on account and supplier portals
  • Support month-end and year-end processes
  • Assist with other duties as required

Person Specification

  • Previous experience working within a purchase ledger/accounts payable role
  • Study towards an AAT qualification would be an advantage but not essential
  • Strong IT skills, good MS Excel skills and experience using SAGE 200 would be an advantage
  • Confident communicator and high level of accuracy
