Engineering Administrator

Location: Christeyns Professional Hygiene - Based at our Whaley Bridge site

Start Date: Immediate

Hours: 08.00 am to 17:00 pm Monday to Thursday

08.00 am to 16 :00 pm Friday

The Role

Due to company expansion and further opportunities arising within the Christeyns group there is a vacancy for a full time Engineering Administrator. This person will be reporting to and working closely with the Head of Engineering and Lead Engineers.

Main Duties

*

Working with and introducing contractors to site and guiding them as to site policies.

*

To carry out administration for the Shire CMMS system. (Training will be provided).

*

Booking in Engineering works with contractors.

*

Completing environmental and maintenance checks

*

To carry out general administration for the Engineering department.

*

To liaise with Managers and Suppliers.

*

Manage critical spares stock.

*

Become a member of Christeyns digital transformation team.

The Candidate

*

Must be competent in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams.

*

Good communication skills both written & verbal Engineering planning and administrative experience preferred.

*

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

*

Attention to detail and good computer literacy skills.

*

Strong analytical skills, ideally with a solid mathematical ability.

*

Experience working with safety systems or in a strong safety culture environment.

*

Enthusiastic and self-motivated approach to work.
