Lead Electrician / Electrical Test Engineer
Are you a fully qualified Electrician with a strong background in inspection, testing, and electrical maintenance? Looking to join a respected Building Services Maintenance Provider working across commercial and high-spec environments?

We are recruiting for an experienced Lead Electrician / Lead Electrical Test Engineer to join our specialist team delivering planned and reactive electrical works, installation projects, and compliance testing across multiple London sites all in the City EC1 and EC2.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) and Fixed Wire Testing

* Complete Emergency Lighting Testing and inspection reports

* Deliver Electrical Remedial Works and Installation Projects to high standards

* Perform PPM & Reactive Electrical Maintenance on a variety of sites

* Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety procedures, including M&E safety policies

* Accurately complete all associated certification, paperwork and online reporting (NICEIC, EasyCert, ElectricalOM)

* Participate in on-call rota and overtime when required

* Travel across multiple sites (travel zone 1&2 expenses covered)

Required Qualifications & Experience:

* Fully Qualified Electrician (City & Guilds 2330, 2356, 2351, 2355 or equivalent)

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (C&G 2382:2018)

* Inspection & Testing Qualified (C&G 2391 or 2394/2395)

* Proven experience with EICR, emergency lighting, and remedial works

* Familiarity with online certification systems such as NICEIC, EasyCert, ElectricalOM

* Able to pass a Standard DBS check

Desirable (Not Essential):

JIB Gold Card - Approved Electrician

Low/High Voltage Authorised Person

SSSTS, IOSH Working/Managing Safely

PAT Testing, IPAF, PASMA, Thermal Imaging, CompEx 01-04

Familiarity with AHU, AC units, or basic mechanical/plumbing systems

Experience working in high-end residential, commercial, or critical environments

Knowledge of Simmtronic lighting systems and building management systems (BMS)

Confident using Microsoft Office applications
